What is the difference between an EMBA and a Traditional MBA?

An Executive MBA program differs from other MBA programs in the following ways: EMBA students continue to work while they study; they are also generally more experienced. In addition, EMBA students at UA generally enter as a group (or cohort) and remain with the same group throughout the program.

The UA EMBA results in a general business management master’s degree. This lock-step program is taught at an accelerated pace. Students must have a minimum of five years of work experience. The full-time MBA degree offered by the UA Manderson Graduate School of Business is a two-year program that offers several focused areas of study.
