Daryl’s story of pursuing his EMBA is one of gaining confidence in his abilities as a leader. A drastic shift in workplace culture followed his company being bought out, and Daryl saw a change was needed. It was time for a new career field altogether – specifically within the nonprofit sector. Daryl recognized acquiring an EMBA would add to his credibility, qualifications, and ability to stand out from competing candidates.

Since obtaining his EMBA, Daryl has achieved his goal of transitioning career fields as he serves as the Director of Social Enterprise for a local nonprofit. Looking even beyond a resume achievement, the EMBA program has allowed Daryl to gain confidence in himself, his work, and his skillset. “My confidence grew, and I was ready for whatever trial each day would present. I trust my judgement more, and I do not fear challenges,” he shares.

Based in Nashville, the blended online/in-person class structure was the right fit in providing the experience he was looking for. As he serves in his position, Daryl utilizes the skills and confidence gained through his EMBA to better himself, his career, and his community.
