The Culverhouse College of Business Executive MBA (EMBA) program is designed for business professionals looking to take the next steps in their careers.

Our EMBA program requires a minimum of five years of professional work experience, active support from your current employer, and a bachelors degree from an accredited institution.

Prepare Your Application

To apply for the UA Executive MBA, prospective students must use The University of Alabama’s Graduate School application which includes a non-refundable $65 application fee for U.S. citizens and permanent residents, and a non-refundable $80 application fee for international applicants. The application fee is waived for U.S. Military Veterans.

Required Materials

Upon submission of the application, you will need to upload the following materials to complete your application. 

  • Official transcripts from any institution where 12+ credit hours were earned, these must be requested by the institution to be sent to us.
  • Current Resume
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Two Letters of Recommendation- we ask that one be from your direct supervisor
  • Official GRE/GMAT Test Scores (upon request)

Schedule Your Interview

As a part of our application process you will take part in an interview (online or in-person) with two members of our staff. This allows us to ensure you are the best fit for our program as well as we are for you, and to follow up on any questions that we may have regarding your application. A member of our team will contact you within 48 business hours of receiving your application to schedule your interview.
