Curriculum

16 Courses – 3 Credit Hours – 48 Hour Program – 17 Months

The EMBA curriculum emphasizes practical skills, theories, and practices. Focused areas include finance, strategy, global initiatives, and leadership. Students learn through case studies, simulations, and in-depth projects. Balancing flexibility and rigor, the program combines online instruction with monthly in-person class sessions. Students work in study teams, balancing individual and collective assignments. Weekly meetings—whether face-to-face, via conference calls, or online—foster collaboration amongst the cohort. This setup accommodates busy professionals and out-of-state candidates. This approach equips professionals to make informed decisions even in complex, data-rich, and time-sensitive scenarios. The program provides a competitive edge for both individuals and their companies. Students partake in an international trip which enriches students’ understanding of global business dynamics.

Classes are held in-person one weekend a month on The University of Alabama campus for 17 months with the next cohort beginning in January. Application deadline is November 15th.
